This project involved creating an animated on-screen communication for a large-format digital display outside the Swedish Restaurant at IKEA Reading. The aim was to adapt a static national campaign asset into motion, improving visibility, clarity, and customer engagement in a high-traffic retail environment.
Working with the Food Manager, I identified key messaging priorities for the local store and adapted the supplied campaign artwork to suit a large digital format. Using Adobe After Effects, I introduced motion and refined layout hierarchy and pacing to ensure clear, legible communication from a distance while maintaining alignment with IKEA’s visual identity.
Displayed on a prominent floor-to-ceiling screen along a main customer walkway, the final animation increased visibility of the campaign and helped drive engagement with the Swedish Restaurant.
